Skeptic or Not, Can we agree on the meeting?

Im just as skeptical as anyone, but there is just way too much smoke around dialogue and/or attempts to meet between Wade and LSU in the last 48 hours. And it’s not just the Hayride or random posters, I saw a paysite mod confirm the ongoing attempts earlier today.
Whether the meeting actually happens or leads to reinstatement or not, who knows, but there’s something afoot. And all the silence from mods and media is deafening.

I don't believe any of it. I've gotten too excited too many times to be let down about stuff like this.

The fact that the Advocate and SI (Dellenger) stopped the steady stream of negative articles on Wade is a good sign because those articles came directly from LSU.
Also, the trolls on here trashing Wade have disappeared as well. Plus, the public back and forth between LSU and Wade stopped.
All of this points to efforts to try to reach a resolution.
Plus, from what I understand there are a lot of bigger donors that were really pissed after Friday and putting a ton of pressure on Alleva.
Would be surprised if they are not trying to get there. Whether it happens is still to be seen.

It's not going to happen. The Compliance Nazi's want Wade gone. The Idiots running the show figure after BB no one will care if Wade is let go in April after his testimony in the Bribery Trial.

Jimbo, Herman, Surtain, Sophser, Wade

What about Guice and White coming back?

Why is Wade going to testify in April? Please explain to me his his testimony is relevant as to whether the defendants bribed Louisville, TCU, Creighton, NC State and Kansas coaches? Just because a lawyer is threatening a subpoena doesn't mean the judge will allow the testimony. Nothing that Wade could add is relevant.
Let me guess, you read that he was subpoenaed in the paper, but have no idea what that means...

Which is absolutely pathetic on both the administration and media’s part when you stop to think about it

This is what I'm thinking, too.
The silence from both sides means they are likely trying to reach a resolution behind closed doors and away from the public eye (as it should be). Both sides engaging in that public tit for tat dueling statement bullshite wasn't good for anyone.

I wonder too if getting the team out of town before announcing is a consideration. Also, maybe make the announcement after player and coaches media session tomorrow to avoid any further media circus.
Just a thought.

Don't believe meeting and don't believe pissed donors on some TAF flight from Nashville. Just more bull crap being spread on here from people claiming to know something. I'll believe it when it happens.

If you don't think Alleva is trying to make this happen (to try to save his own arse) you're an idiot.

I’m all for WW’s return. But the closer it gets to Thursday, a bigger distraction it will be.

Trying to muddy the water. Most of the coaches charged are Asst's, Wade's HC of a top SEC program. They strategically leaked the Wade blurb. They knew what would happen. As far as testifying, I dont how Wade could possibly help them, unless he knows something that the Feds dont.

Donors, past boards members and the public wants him gone, bringing back Wade for the tournament is the only thing that gives him a chance to survive.

You think he judge is going to let in testimony if a federal case to "muddy the waters" when his testimony is not relevant to whether these defendants committed a crime?
It doesn't matter who helps, he can only testify if the judge finds his testimony relevant to issues at trial. Which it is not.

We fall for these inside sauce threads every time because they are like this:

Like I said, Dawkins defense team may believe they have something on Wade that the Fed's dont know about. I agree the transcript is hearsay, and doesnt prove anything, other than Wade has a big mouth.
