Matt Howard. He was a starter on those Gordon Hayward Butler teams.

Jacob Pullen (especially in the triple overtime game against Xavier, also possibly the best game Gus Johnson ever called)
Pretty much everyone on the Wichita St. team that made the Final Four run.
Mouse McFadden on the Cleveland St. team that beat Indiana
Keith Jennings from East Tennessee St. (beat Arizona in the first round)

Those guys, specifically Fife and Coverdale, ended one of my favorite small school tournament runs of all time

Sam Dekker was more exciting and less talked about than Frank, he was such a cool player until he got to the NBA and lost all outside skill

They shot 15 from 19 from 3 in that game. Ridiculous. Even then Kent State only lost by 12.

Glen Rice was fun to watch in 1989.

"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS WITH THAT SHOT!"

Loved the Seton Hall team
Ramon Ramos
and Andrew Gaze
And back when I liked Georgetown (because I hated UNC and Houston), Michael Graham was the baddest of the badasses.

They just couldn't miss. Their hot shooting buried Kent into an insurmountable hole early in that game. IIRC, Coverdale is the one who was just scalding hot.

8 pages and no mention of Darnell Archey? I must really be getting old.

Yea and was a household name as the Big Ten Player of the year, an all American, drafted 4th overall, played for a top ten team, and a national champ with 3 seeded Michigan
