Without clicking the link, how do they match dna at scene to this guy? Dug him up?

Probably got DNA from the descendants of his family.

One of the gals he killed had his jizz left on her clothes. They compared that DNA to known suspects (by using descendants still alive) and matched it to Kominski who has long been a suspect.

Seems pretty airtight to me.

DNA tech has made rapid advances in the past five years. They are now pulling DNA from skeletons that are thousands of years old. They have genotyped Neanderthals, which is how they proved all non-African people alive today have a few percent Neanderthal in them.
