Let's be honest. The cars outgrew this track decades ago. It's pretty much just qualifying and possibly pit lane that decides this.
Yeah, it was a perfect track in the 60s and 70s (unless you were Bandini, not so good for him) but by the end of the 80s it was a parade.

I don't think he gives a shite at this point in the weekend, just wants to get some points after Ferrari's frick up in Q1.

5sec for VER and 10sec for GIO.

Even if Verstappen gets by, there aren’t enough laps to build the gap to actually win with the 5 second penalty.

This is so annoying. It's like they want Mercedes to have their perfect season.
OTOH, Verstappen shoulda qualified better.

He went for it there. Wish he had turned Lewis around.

And Hamilton adds to his all time record as the whiniest world champion ever.

Well in a couple of hours we'll get to see a dozen passes for the lead in the Indy 500. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Good thing Toto and crew didn’t listen to Lewis’s complaints and pleadings to pit.

Crashtappen living up to his name. If you can't win then ruin everyone else's race.

At least he went for it.
Better than watching mercedes just go 1,2 again.
His penalty was a joke.
Actually more pissed that vettel just sat there because he knew second was his and not racing for the win.
Leclerc was awesome

Went for it by hitting Bottas in the pit? Go for it by dive bombing a late pass into the chicane? I'm all for someone challenging and beating Merc, but crashing into them isn't racing.
VER was not faster than HAM despite what everyone wants to say. HAM ran the race he needed to in order to win.

Before the season Ferrari was predicted top runner...that kind of blew up like LSU's pre-season #1 rating...

I wonder if it makes sense in hindsight that Max should have pitted with say 20 laps to go, put on some fresh softs, served his penalty, and then chased back into a good position to pass botas at the end?

Most frustrating part of the race for me. I kept thinking he was going to force the issue eventually, but never did.
It was almost like the race strategy was to hang back and see if Verstappen would eventually take himself and Hamilton out.
