Epic is offering the publisher more money. More money to publishers the less likely they need to rely on microtransactions and the sort.


These companies are not altruistic. Why are you caping for giant corporations. They're not going to treat you better because they made $12m in profits instead of $11m.

Because I don't care if they make more money. If my experience is the same or better because they made more money, I'm all for it.

Activision had to push microtransactions into Oblivion plus season passes to make it a worthwhile investment for destiny. While epic made a free game but did transactions on skins only and there was no change in gameplay. Season passes we're 9.99 and you can continually get the new season for free if you played enough.

These companies have to make money or we aren't going to get a good experience.
