Is Louisiana cursed? Will Wade & Bounty Gate.

Every major university in basketball pays for recruits. So many issues with other universities come out with much more damning facts than the Will Wade situation, but LSU will be the university that receives the biggest punishment. The same happened with Bounty Gate and the Saints. Many other teams were known to have bounty systems in place, but the Saints were the only team to take the fall.

LSU doesn’t help their own cause. Most other universities just ride it out. Was watching Arizona highlights tonight and thinking about the fact that they just let the Sean Miller situation run its course and everyone moved on to the next thing. If they would’ve suspended him forever last year, he wouldn’t have been on their sideline today.

This is nothing new, sadly.
And yes, the Saints were cursed. Tom Benson hired a voodoo priestess in 2006 to perform ceremonies on the field in the Dome. It's not coincidence that that was the year the franchise reversed course.
Maybe Gayle and the new (future) Governor should follow suit.
