NBA rookie minimum is $830k, so according to Wade, it was better than that.

[I doubt it was as Wade was exasperated, but I think we can clearly infer there was money changing hands.]

I cannot fathom any college player in any sport getting this much money -- several thousand or tens of thousands ok but not this. I'm thinking he was talking about the player/recruit staying long enough to make better than the league minimum once he went to the draft.

I call BS on any player getting paid $830K. Maybe I'm just dumb.
