Going down in a few weeks to see Hamilton and wanting to go somewhere nice for dinner before. Staying at JW on canal. Been looking a several different places but Muriel’s menu looks good.

no... wife just saw the menu and thought it looked good. I’m opened to anything. I siggiested GW Fins. Wife isn’t the biggest seafood person so trying to find something she’d enjoy.

What you recommend? Ideally I’d like something we could walk to, or maybe a short Uber ride

I guess I shouldn’t say all seafood... she’s just not a big shellfish person.

Muriel’s certainly isn’t trendy right now but you will get a good meal there

Slyvain & Doris Metropolitan are right up the street & a little more trendy if that’s what you’re going for

I think your suggestion of GW Fins is solid. Certainly plenty of non-shell options. Doris is right down the street from there if steak comes up. Also down the street from there is Sylvain which is terrific.

Is it true that Muriel’s is good for kids? We’re coming down the last week of March and need some kid friendly recommendations.

After looking at a bunch of different options, we decided on Luke. Good choice?

Cafe Amelie is always a good brunch spot...if you’re in the 1/4.
