As we all know, Canada in their efforts to copy daddy and be noticed by senpai somehow managed to elect an even gayer and more effeminate leader than Obama. A true SJW hero and world leader.
However, it turns out Castro’s illegitimate bastard gay son was caught doing something the press always accuses Trump of, bullying marginalized POC into protecting companies he likes.

The Canadian justice system finds them out and begins the investigation/prosecution.
Trudeau and his cronies begin leaning on and later subtlety threatening the justice department officials on the case, trying to strong arm them into letting the company get off light.
Pretty much textbook political corruption 101.

Also, Canadian federal elections are later this year in October, Trudeau and his liberal party have been sliding hard in the polls for months even before all this and this certainly won't help them.
