I’d like to believe so, but most people aren’t nearly as involved with following politics as we are on this board. Most people are ignorant as shite and happy to be that way. They get all of their info from CNN YouTube clips and Facebook headlines.
And the major news stations/publications carry the water for these idiot politicians. The portray these morons as savvy and working for the common man’s best interests. Most of the masses will tell you that AOC is some sort of maverick; that the brotherfricker, if they even know who of her, is a shining example of the left’s inclusiveness; that “Beto” is the next and first Hispanic President; that Bernie is going to make those evil capitalists and billionaires pay for everyone’s college and healthcare.
People just aren’t involved. And the liberal political system intently plays to that ignorance.
