I've never seen this or even heard of it until Alex Jones was on the Joe Rogan experience today. I watched the trailer and was kind of confused as to what the actual plot was about. It all looked like a weird trip.

Dig into it and this will make a lot more sense.

Weird as hell.

High as giraffe pussy the first time watching it and I couldn’t get past the reptile scene. There’s moments of brilliance though, and Depp nails the role.

Pretty boring. The only people who like it are druggies.

I love it. It's one big trip and it's hilarious. Depp was phenomenal in this role and the narration in the movie is awesome. It's a fun ride Imo but some people hate it and think it sucks. I think it's brilliant.

I'm not trying to be a dick but you never even heard of this movie until listening to Alex Jones and Joe Rogan today?

Serious question, no troll, and it's none of my business, but how old are you, and where are you from?

I love it. It gets a little depressing towards the end in the diner, but overall it's funny to me.

Fear and Loathing is one of my favorite movies, i love it, seen it a million times, and i would still struggle to describe it's plot.

its much more about the writing, the performances, and the situations.

It’s entertaining, but damn it gives me a headache every time I watch it.

"We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold."

I watched it many years ago, maybe around 2003, for the first time ever when a friend told me to watch it. They recommended it because it was probably the first time a movie got the accurate depiction of what it feels like to do acid, mescaline, pot, cocaine, ether, and amyls.

I found it tiresome. I like doing drugs but not watching other people do drugs. All the trippiness was a chore.

Watch Where the Buffalo Roam first, then work your way up to FaLiLV.

Keep in mind that both actors who portrayed H.S. Thompson “became” him for a good while after shooting the film.

It's a drug trip mixed with a fever dream. I didn't enjoy it, but I probably would have if I was a druggie.

If you can, I'd suggest reading the book then watching the movie and I enjoyed both.

For me the movie was great the first half, but wasn't as good towards the end.
