Please just give jones to Ngannou. I want to see jones get punched into orbit.

Think about what DC would do to ngannou and then think about what Jones did to DC.

Is DC really that different or better than Cain? Ngannou touches you you fall down. Ngannou is a terrifying opponent for anyone.

I don't think his corner was bad just Anthony never went. They wanted him to fricking go and he just curled up which I can completely understand when you're overwhelmed by a freak of a person.

They gave him zero technical advice other than fortune cookie mantras.

“Release your lion” and “you’ve seen everything bro” when you are getting manhandled is ridiculous and worthless advice

What technical advice do you give to a guy who wont attack at all? He didnt need technique he needed motivation.

I'm completely serious when I say the only fight I'm interested in for Jones at LHW is Johnny Walker. If not, move up to heavyweight.

I agree. He’s only had a few ufc fights but you can tell when somebody is championship material. Hell they gave bones the championship fight against shogun really early in his career because it was obvious how much of a freak he was and he dominated. Walker is our only hope left

I don’t even think Jones is an amazing fighter. He’s got so much length that he can keep a lot of distance and just keep throwing teep-style kicks to maintain distance.

And he is a good wrestler so his opponents are always worried of the takedown.

If he fights a good fighter who is tall and he doesn’t have that massive reach advantage, he will look a lot more beatable. His skills aren’t amazing in my opinion.

I agree. He’s dynamic enough...and carefree enough...to beat Jones.

Like Gus? Jones has proven he is the best ever.

Dude has beat a who's who of mma

DC twice
Rashad
Belfort
Bonar
Shogun
Rampage
Machida
Chael p

Only 2 of those guys he didn't finish at some point, bonar and Rashad

Looks like Colby is gonna annihilate Usman next

Correction: UFC has already informed Colby Covington he will defend against newly crowned number 1 contender Marty Snoozeman. And that's not news Brett. That's how number 1 contenders work. #PeoplesChamp

BREAKING: I'm told UFC has already informed Colby Covington he will receive the first shot against newly crowned champion Kamaru Usman. No date or venue for you yet, but Covington will get the shot.

I can’t remember what happened exactly in the fights with Gus, but didn’t he give Jones a real fight?

Didn’t Jones win a really close 5 round decision in their first fight?

Was it because Gustafsson is such a great fighter or was it because Jones didn’t have the huge physical advantage he usually has?

At this point he just needs to move up. He won’t lose at 205. Surely he’s gotta be getting bored with these scrubs at 205 anyway.

It was because Jones wasn't practicing like he should and was getting coked up every night.

You're acting like Gus is a scrub. He also lost a split decision to Cormier.

Because Gus is like 6’6” and Cornier is short.

He’s a pretty good fighter who has a huge advantage against some opponents because of his height and reach.

If Jones didn’t have that massive reach advantage over Cormier, Cormier would have beaten the shite out of him.
