Reporters have become “political activists” and even “propagandists,” former CBS News’ foreign correspondent Lara Logan said during a recent podcast.

The war correspondent was speaking to Navy SEAL Mike Ritland on Friday when she delivered the broadside against the media.

“The media everywhere is mostly liberal,” Logan said.

“Most journalists are left or liberal or Democrat or whatever word you want to give it.”

She added that journalistic standards have been lowered, resulting in “horses–t” reporting.

“I mean, you read one story or another and hear it and it’s all based on one anonymous administration official, former administration official,” she said. “That’s not journalism. That’s horses–t. Sorry. That is absolute horses–t.”

The journalist highlighted how former New York Times editor Jill Abramson wrote in her new book that most of that paper’s coverage of President Trump was negative.

David Rhodes, Ben Rhodes' brother (who is BFF with Obama) and head of CBS News couldn't allow dissenting points of view in his propaganda organization.

Lara Logan, the journalist who gained wider renown covering war-torn spots in the Middle East for CBS News, is no longer with the network and has not been for several months. The split, disclosed as the result of Logan making an appearance over the weekend on a podcast in which she suggested news consumers ought to get information from both liberal and conservative outlets, might come as a surprise to outsiders. Logan had been working for “60 Minutes” and gained a reputation for visiting dangerous locales in Afghanistan and Iraq, often embedded with U.S. armed forces. She joined CBS News in 2002 and had been one of the unit’s top foreign correspondents. A CBS News spokeswoman said Logan left the news unit at some point in 2018. Her last piece for CBS News appears to be a May segment for “60 Minutes” about poachers slaughtering rhinoceros in South Africa. Logan had been represented by UTA, and prior to that, N.S. Bienstock. A spokesperson for UTA could not be reached for immediate comment on Logan’s status with the agency.

looks like they parted ways several months ago, but i thought the podcast she did was recent? maybe im reading it wrong.

Logan and her CBS crew were arrested and detained for one night by the Egyptian Army on 3 February 2011, while covering the Egyptian revolution. She said the crew was blindfolded and handcuffed at gunpoint, and their driver beaten. They were advised to leave the country, but were later released.[18][19]

On 15 February 2011, CBS News released a statement that Logan had been beaten and sexually assaulted on 11 February, while covering the celebrations in Tahrir Square following Hosni Mubarak's resignation.[20] CBS 60 Minutes broadcast an interview with her about it on 1 May 2011; she said she was speaking out because of the prevalence of mass sexual assault in Egypt, and to break the silence about the sexual violence women reporters are reluctant to report in case it prevents them from doing their jobs.[21][22][23]

She said the incident involved 200 to 300 men and lasted around 25 minutes. She had been reporting the celebrations for an hour without incident when her camera battery failed. One of the Egyptian CBS crew suggested they leave, telling her later he heard the crowd make inappropriate sexual comments about her. She felt hands touching her, and can be heard shouting "stop", just as the camera died. One of the crowd shouted that she was an Israeli, a Jew, a claim that CBS said, though false, was a "match to gasoline". She went on to say that they tore off her clothes and, in her words, raped her with their hands, while taking photographs with their cellphones. They began pulling her body in different directions, pulling her hair so hard she said it seemed they were trying to tear off chunks of her scalp. Believing she was dying, she was dragged along the square to where the crowd was stopped by a fence, alongside which a group of women were camping. One woman wearing a chador put her arms around Logan, and the others closed ranks around her, while some men who were with the women threw water at the crowd. A group of soldiers appeared, beat back the crowd with batons, and one of them threw Logan over his shoulder. She was flown back to the U.S. the next day, where she spent four days in the hospital.[21][22] She was contacted by President Obama when she arrived home.[24] CBS said it remained unclear who the attackers were, and unlikely that any will be prosecuted.

She was still employed by them, just hasn't done work for them. She was basically a contract journalist for them. They officially broke ties with her after this interview released.

More examples of CBS scummery

quote:

n late January 2007, Logan filed a report of fighting along Haifa Street in Baghdad, but the CBS Evening News did not run the report; deeming it "a bit strong".[10][11] To reverse the decision, Logan enlisted public support; requesting them to watch the story and pass the link to as many of their friends and acquaintances as possible, saying "It should be seen".[11][12]

Scenes featuring Jussie Smollett on the hit TV show “Empire” have been drastically cut amid the whirlwind of controversy surrounding his alleged hate attack, according to a report Tuesday.

The actor, who plays gay singer-songwriter Jamal Lyon on the show, was supposed to have nine scenes and a big musical performance in the second-to-last episode of Season 5, production sources told TMZ.

But five scenes and the musical number have been axed.

Smollett’s character is also no longer the focus of his remaining four scenes, which will now feature an ensemble of characters.

Did anyone watch the interview? I tried to listen but for some reason I couldn't concentrate on what she was saying, I am SURE the guy interviewing couldn't either. Here is a youtube link to the part where they say she is talking about the liberal media. I am not sure what keeps distracting me from her words, maybe one of you can help me out: LINK

Gay black dude makes up fake hate crime - slightly fewer scenes
