Miles inherited a loaded team primed by you know who. Coach 'O' inherited a team that was one step away from a dumpster fire.
While LSU has not returned to prominence, they are very close and at least back in the top tier team discussions.

There's no emotion involved. The statement is completely false. The people that get paid to evaluate talent disagree with it. You know, the ones that say LSU had a top 5 recruiting class? It was nowhere near a dumpster fire. It wasn't championship caliber, but it was still a top 10 roster in talent.

Well LSU was 9-3 Saban's last year and 9-3 Miles' last full year before O took over.
Saban got a natty in year 4 taking over a Dinardo Dumpster fire.
Les got a natty in year 3.
O was interim in 2016 after 4 games and is now starting year 3 as full time HC. I feel good about our 2019 team. Maybe it's natty time.

Why bring this up now, basketball takes precedence over football because they are on a tremendous run. Baseball is 2nd because it is just starting and are undefeated. Football is the 3rd sport in relevance right now.
