Some might, but I don’t think Trumps anywhere close to a genius. Still, he had the foresight to begin looking into what an Emergency Declaration entailed last summer. He brought his budget team in and started looking at how much they could find in unused funds. It was a savvy political maneuver.

that is a glorious move and troll on his part 
but im still unclear on what good the money will do, he signed a damn bill that prevents him from building the wall.
so it doesnt matter if he has a trillion dollars, he still cant build a wall because he signed the bill that says he cant

Whose going to deny there is a drug crisis on the border? Yes much of the drugs comes through ports of entry but the cartels hedge with other strategies to get drugs across like illegal crossings. Nobody has any idea how much is coming across by illegal entry vs port of entry.
