This, listen to this board. He could come out saying the 2A is a sham and we need to turn our guns in and 90% of the people on here would find ways to justify it to themselves. There’s no guiding principles of thought. Just chearleading.
What Trump is going to lose is everyone in the center. People who think the progressives are way too far to the left but now see a president circumventing congress to get his way.

Hail, this bill is literally a traffickers amnesty giveaway where anyone with a kid can’t be deported, brings in more cheap labor for big business and also makes sure the wall is never built by only authorizing it in liberal areas and refusing to authorize it in conservative like like Cochise county.
It’s a goddamn disaster.
Trump is better off with a clean CR and a national emergency declaration. If he signs it, he’s an absolute moron or a coward.

But that’s a problem. We need to hold his feet to the fire, not accept whatever he does.
