And there it is. "I'll convince myself this is good food because I've always gone here."

That's exactly what I was expecting from Lafayette baws when I listed Judice Inn.

You know food in Ohio is terrible when everyone is mentioning real restaurants and the bucknut mentions a fast food burger joint and 2 sit down burger joints.

I mean...I haven't live in Ohio since 2006 and have lived in better cities for food than you have guaranteed.

NYC
Miami
D.C.
Dallas

So thanks for playing but as usual in anything related to OSU, you're wrong.

This asked for overrated restaurants and I gave you 2 overrated places to eat IMO

If you think La Fonda is about Tex-mex, you’ll never understand.

It’s about consistency and tradition.
Oh, my God. That's so cheesy it's almost disgusting. Let me guess, you own the joint. Somebody give a pair of boots to wade through the bullshite.

Bruh, I really don't give a rat's arse. You're the one getting all butthurt about people talking bad about the place. And really, not even talking bad - just saying that it's overrated. That is what the point of this thread is all about.

La Fonda is Tex Mex. Trying to play it off as anything else is just silly (and cheesy as stated above).

so you are complaining about the quality of a fast food joint? You have to compare fast food to fast food. I love Chick fil a for what it is -- good fast food.

I haven't gotten around everywhere yet, but some things I do love about this city so far:

1. We have great small bakeries/taco spots all over the place. Went to Del Norte bakery 2 weeks ago and had tamales and 2 pieces of tres leches and it was $11 and awesome.
2. The city has a lot of outdoor patios which is great for when it gets a bit warmer
3. Haven't done too much of the fine dining but I have lists for when friends etc come into town.

Were you the one who recommended the grape? I live less than a mile from there (on Ridgedale near 75 area) and I have driven by it countless times

This is an absurd price... there is not a single restaurant in the world worth that kind of price. No food on the planet justifies that kind of price tag.

It's the best. We have a lot of patio weather so a place without one isn't going to do well 90% of the year.

Yes. It's fantastic. Fine dining in a cozy, loud, laid back bistro atmosphere. They've got a great wine list and a menu that changes regularly. The mushroom soup there is incredible.

It took 13 pages, but I just KNEW someone would come in here with this nonsense. GW Fins is the best dining experience in a town known for dining experiences. Not surprising that you're from "da parish bruh" and you come in here with this type of opinion. I bet you like Rocky's Tails and Shells...
