Salary increase and some smart facility upgrades

that was actually going to be my response

I'll auto-contribute part of my salary to him - seriously. So cool to see LSU hoops winning

Fans? Attend games and support the team. Admin? Huge raise and facilities upgrades.

His 6-year contract is a GOOD ONE to retain him. If he chose to leave in April, he (or someone) would have 30 days to cut LSU a $10 million check ($2.5 mil for every year left on his contract).
I would imagine LSU will bump his pay up to $3.5 mil this Spring and maybe add 2 more years.
It will not be his salary that causes WW to look elsewhere in the coming years. It will be LSU's refusal to upgrade our facilities especially in building a new arena.

Fans need to step up for home games. It's time to do our part, make it the deaf again and recruiting will get easier

What is so wrong with it? It still looks relatively modern on the outside. Looks good once inside the arena. The concourses could use an upgrade, but other than that, it’s not a bad facility.

We need to show that we’re committed to win at all costs
The majority of time, coaches at programs have to beg for facility upgrades, increases in staff pay, etc with more often than not, no response from the AD
We need to provide no excuse for Will to leave. Give the man the resources he needs to win a championship at LSU

We don't need a bag man, we are allowed to pay coaches.

Look at our football stadium. It was long revered as a replica of the Roman colosseum but they turned it into a massive mix of Walgreens and McDonald’s. That is an epic shite show of architectural WTF.

I didn’t know we were losing him

LSU fans have to pack the place and make it a true home court advantage.
Facilities upgrades and salary increase.
More than anything, we have to hold onto him for another four or five years and show that LSU is truly committed to championships. If he believes that and the fans are passionate, maybe he decides this is home.
If not, there is no chance to keep him if someplace like Duke or Indiana or North Carolina Carolina comes calling in a few years.

We need to put his face over all the Got Gordon billboards in Louisiana and buy the 444-4444 number and make it his recruiting number for interested recruits.
