Pistol & Chris Jackson......Dominique Wilkins was unstoppable in college and the NBA.

Who was the stud that played at Tennessee around 25 to 30 years ago? He too was unstoppable.

Pistol averaging 44.5 points per game before the 3 point line was nuts. His shooting skills were just insane.

Chris Jackson had some folks to assist so he probably didn't shoot as much as Pistol. Don't have the stats so I am assuming Pistol took a few more shots per game than Jackson.

It was always so painful to watch Jackson nail almost every single foul shout with ease, then watch O'Neal brick every damn free throw.

I'll always say it like this, Pete was the best showman ever in college hoops.

But the best college player I ever saw? IMHO Christian Laettner. Dude was and probably still is an arrogant prick, and I thoroughly disliked him, Duke won 2 or 3 titles while he was there and he outplayed Shaq twice.

I would also add Bernard King. The Ernie and Bernie show at Tenn was unstoppable.

Pistol, Magic, and Larry Bird

4 pages in and this is the first mention of Larry Bird (at least I don't remember seeing him before this post).

Bird took Indiana State to the championship game. He was a great college player and a great pro. Deserves to be in the mix. For a "slow" white guy, he could do it all - scoring, passing, and deceptively good defense.
