And we're possibly not done yet with Bernie Sanders and Sherrod Brown possibly announcing soon.

It's ridiculous but then again it shows you hard up for star talent democrats were left with after MAGA stole HER TURN away from Hillary.

Weren't there like 16 Republicans running against President Trump in the primaries?

Sherrod Brown

The kind of guy who’d have a shot in the general election but not the primary.

ETA: For the mouth breathers, I said he’d have a shot, not that he would automatically win.

History isnt exactly on their side either. In the entirety of US history, only 3 sitting US Senators have moved to the White House: Harding, Kennedy, and Obama. Thats it. Now, 16 have served in the Senate and later moved in, but only 3 straight from the Senate.

Adding to that question...

Obviously they all think they can win, but why?

It just goes to represent that the Democrat Party is led by a bunch of political hacks rather than leaders from Governorships and such.

Since 1900, only three presidents were elected straight from the Senate. One of those 3 was Obama.

Senator is not a normal route to the Presidency.

Anyone else think some of these are just doing it for money with no intention of actually winning? Look at all the money that was donated to the Beto campaign. Sure there are rules with what you can do with the money, but fees for speaking engagements, interviews, etc.
