I trust them as much as ESPN, we have 4 5* ,more than Bama or Ga?

Horrible Class. Sadly disappointed in the coaching staff. How could they do this to us?

You need to spin the Ish miss into LSU missing on every Louisiana recruit to do it right.

Feels like we recruit this type of class every year.... highly skilled DB's and WR's, , an average QB, and some highly rated Athletes who have amazing speed/body types...but precious few top Linemen.

I always go by 247 composite, but we’re 4 on 247s and 7th on ESPN which is far and away the worst site.

Just have to avoid talking about Coach O only landing one solid DL guy for the second year and n a row. Another NT. Too bad only one of them play at a time.
Or that Coach O has missed on the top rated DL prospect in the class twice in the last 3 years. Oh, also have to ignore there was no solid back up plan after. Things would have been different if he missed on Ish, but landed Young, Pickens, etc. But he didn't. That's what we call striking out.
Congrats on landing the other positions though. However LSU has had no trouble with those positions in the past. He was brought here to fix the trenches(DL and OT). Can't do that if you can't get more than one high rated recruit a year to come.

So should we pay attention to the rankings again, when they are bolstered by highly ranked skill players? I’m just wondering which is it? I think it’s a great class, weak on the DL....sort of what Les was producing that the Cheeri-O’s regularly criticize...

This is just ridiculous. You have to have a LITTLE faith in coaches evals. One highly rated guy a year? Stingley, Emery, Brooks, KT, Hampton are all big time guys. The guys that act like if you arent a top 25 player you arent good just drive me insane.

Here are the number of 4 and 5 star players that each of the programs in the top 5 signed:
Alabama - 26
Georgia - 20
Texas - 17
Texas A&M - 16
LSU - 14
That 20 and 26 is a massive haul of blue chip players.
