Not Sonic, but I saw 2 fat white trash women scrapping in a KFC parking lot in Defuniak Springs, FL around 10:30 am on a Saturday morning. By the amount of people watching it almost looked like it had been set up and arranged for that place and time

Witnessed the TPOS working inside the one on Perkins verbally yell at a deaf person because the deaf persons order was wrong and brought it inside for a refund.

Sonic used to be the hang out for a couple different local high schools here for some reason. Saw lots of fights there. After a while the guy that owns it wouldn’t let kids hang out there anymore.
The old Sonic's were a throwback to cruising in the 50's. Sonic would go to small towns in the 70's and build one at each end of town so you could cruise all nite (back then nite was pretty early as the TV went off by 11 or 1 (if they had a late show). yes there were some fights but none involved knives or guns. Since nobody cruises anymore and Sonic now has a very corporate feel (including less tasty food) and have indoor seating in big towns, what is their niche now?

No, but in high school I saw fights go down at Taco Bell and A&W. Both were multiple people involving our high school vs another high school. Weirdest thing was seeing a brick hurled at a car windshield.

I haven't seen a true Sonic OT beatdown, but I have witnessed a drunk demolish one of the menu order screens in his truck.

Saw many fights at Sonic in the Boro and Rayvegas when I was in HS. If you didnt go the the grocery store parking lot to duke it out, it generally happened at Sonic.

I grew up in a small town in central Louisiana. Sonic was one of about 3 notorious fighting spots. I had one showdown there in 10th grade.

Was gonna meet someone there once for knuckle checking.
Saw the special and ended up working out our differences politely over chili cheese coneys and slushes.

Not Sonic, but I got into a brawl in a Waffle House parking lot. It was after a Hank Williams, Jr. and Charlie Daniels concert. In South Alabama. Yes, it was redneck as hell.

A few years ago I pulled up to a Taco Bell drive thru and right as I did, the car in front of me was stopping at the board.
I already had my window down and I heard the driver say "Yo bitch, lemme get a [whatever his order]." The window worker went HAM on the guy and came out after I had ordered and slapped the shite out of the guy.
Not Sonic, but still.

I saw a little redneck baw beat the shite out of this big goofy baw.
Goofy baw went to his truck and returned with a knife. Redneck baw went to his truck and returned with a VHS tape.
Redneck baw beat the shite out of goofy baw again with the VHS tape.
True story
I think I saw that on an episode of Reno 911.
