We call them champ pions, cut them off a willow tree.
Sauteed down with some butter they kinda taste like scallops.

LoCal Mushroom farm
This is a couple farming mushrooms in St Francisville. Pretty interesting and I’ve bought those same you pictured from her at BR Farmers Market. Sauté in some butter, salt and pepper with a big arse Steak.

I love Mushroomss and I love getting my own food from the wild. These were really good. Perfect size, still tender. I'm about to head out fish, and I'll keep my eye out for more

You can pick them off of more than just willow trees

I don’t frick with wild mushrooms or emails saying that some guy in Equitorial Guinea wants to give me 2,000,000 euros.
I just don’t know enough about either.

When I used to work with nattylight he would pick them at work and clean them in his office. Baw level: 100%

Oysters, I think. I actually saw a mushroom kit in a Lowe's.

Yep those are oyster mushrooms. Where abouts were you? Just curious as they are not nearly as prevalent in the Deep South close to the gulf and pine forests as further north in hardwoods.
