I don’t have a ton of gaming time and when I do I split it with 2k.

That's still strong for Apex. Fortnite had that perfect storm of basically going viral. What they did will be hard to repeat.

I think you are reading that wrong. 92 million is the most ever in the first month for a free to play. It is a record.
The 300 million is what fortnite made last month, not the first month. So obviously Apex has room to grow.

yea, was late at night and I didn't type enough out. thanks for clarifying.
had an unfortunate 2nd place last night. we're camping the elevated cage at thunderdome. round 5 final circle. a Gibraltar begins running out in the open below, so of course I shoot. A kraber Sniper from the Bones counter fires and takes me out, then a bloodhound managed to flank un-noticed, get up a diagonal zipline, and wipe our squad while I'm trying to phoenix kit after revive.
gotta give them credit, pretty smart tactical maneuver

I don't think Apex will come close to what fortnite makes off of their skins. With fortine being so colorful, easy to look at, and TPP, it made selling player skins very enticing.
Unless they come out with some REALLY good gun skins, I don't see many people paying a bunch of money on skins. Especially since it's all loot box locked and not straight purchasing like fortnite

I'm getting decimated by Wingman and Precision choked peacekeeper headshots on PC pretty regularly.
165 choked PK headshot then 45 wingman bodyshot rips through purple armor in 2 shots. brutal.

Most I have done in one game is 2100. Around there. Getting the 4000 damage badge seems impossible for me.

Yeah . Apex.tracker.gg is pretty bad.
For most damage, like 800 . The learning curve for an old frick like me playing his first BR, and first multiplayer shooter using kbm , has been steep.

I just had a game where it was me against one other guy. Both of our squads were down besides us. We shot each other at the exact same time, and both died, both squads wiped.

I have been complaining a lot in game about how silent footsteps and other audio bugs seem to be happening since the patch. I was wondering if it was in my head.
Reddit is complaining about that today. So I guess they did break the sound. Which sucks because it was pretty great before.

Been having a lot of audio issues lately, especially when dropping in a hot area with lots of weapons firing off.

My highest dmg output and kills so far. Wanted that 20 piece bad but the last squad was a solo gibraltar which put me at 18.
