I smell a port or F-Zero title
The funny thing about F-Zero is that half the people asking for it probably are just falcon mains in Smash and never actually played the game.

Well, for a game that hasn't released since '03-'04, it's a legit question.
I enjoyed it on SNES (only version I played), but friggin 1990. I have no idea I'd even be interested in a modern one or what that would even look like.

The absence of F-Zero all these years is one of the main things that pushed me away from Nintendo.
F-Zero GX is my favorite Gamecube game to replay these days.
I'm sure their tease here is yet another port, or some Animal Crossing or Pikman type BS.

Yep. Insane how hard it is, especially the story mode with Captain Falcon.
Have no idea why they let the series die. Was easily my favorite racing franchise of all time.

Same.
Haven't played it since the earlier days of the SNES.
If it wasn't for N64 Smash I might have forgot about F-Zero in a sense.

I'm a huge F-Zero fan, but a new F-Zero game would not move the needle in the gaming world much at all.
A new Mother game would be much more significant, even though that franchise is just as dead/niche.
You can do a shite load more cool things in a new Mother game in 2019 than you can with a racing game.

I mean, common sense tells me that dude not blocking the mech scorpion in FF7 being played on the Switch in that trailer is confirmation enough.
