Any suggested places to visit while in Hot Springs? Any recommendations for places to stay ?

We stayed at embassy suites recently for a convention but they say the Arlington is nice. It’s beautiful and supposedly “haunted”. Only ate at a little Irish pub down by the bath houses. It was good.

I second pizza at Deluca’s. I’m not super familiar with the best hotels, but I have heard the Arlington is in a state of disrepair. Back in the day, it was a wonderful hotel, but, barring a significant renovation, it’s best days are behind it.
If you are there on the weekend, then stop by Oaklawn to watch the ponies run. I think it is a top 5 track in the country.

McClards BBQ is supposed to be very good but I have not eaten there.

I've only been twice and stayed at Hot Springs Village. If you are going with family/kids, the Village has a lot of stuff to do. I liked Hot Springs also but there was only enough stuff for a day or so (in the little town).

Was there last weekend and did the horse races Friday and Saturday. Also did the Gangster museum. It's nothing special, but just has some cool facts about the Gangsters that used to go there for their "vacations".

Bump. Taking my fiancee up there first week of June. Going to visit the gardens and some secret cave. Will def. Check out delucas. Any other activities to do that haven't been suggested already?
