To all the Windows 7 users: one year left to decide your future

Microsoft has you by the nads
Microsoft will want more money for a product you already paid for.
I installed Linux Mint last week on my secondary/backup computer. It does not look hard to learn, but will take time to adjust.
Or, is Apple more appealing?

Or until your future is decided for you.

M$ may be asking for money for an old OS, but they gave away W10 for free

Sticking with Windows 7, sorry, not sorry.

There are people still using Windows XP though.

You could've upgraded to Windows 10 years ago for free, but now want to bitch because Microsoft wants to charge you for using an OS that is a decade old that they want to move on from?

That was such a great OS too.
It was, but windows 10 is vastly superior

It's easy enough to learn until you run up against something that's not compatible. I spent hours and hours researching and installing a workaround for WatchESPN.

I was philosophically opposed to Microsoft and jumped through a lot of hoops so I wouldn't have to use their products. After using Mac and Linux, and trying hard to like them, I'm back to MSFT. Windows 10 is superior for what I use it for.

Windows 10 is garbage. I’d much prefer 7. But maybe this is a get off my lawn type thing.

That sounds like a truly ignorant statement. Garbage? GTFO

Windows 10 is superior to Windows 7 in every way.

This is correct.

You think that doesn't happen even worse on Win7

what kind of lunatic leaves Microsoft because of business practices and decides Apple is the way to go?

Christ Apple is the king of overpriced products and planned obsolescence.

all the W10 telemetry was patched into W7

Windows is awesome if you like tweaking software and open source. I have both a newer PC and an older mac. I probably won't buy a windows machine again unless they become more user intuitive.
