thanks
now tell me how a person who feels the need to make up or use hyperbolic situations to feel better about their life is confident, assured or certain about their situation

In...for now. Wife started having talks of wanting little ones soon. I want them too but it's hard to fathom giving up our cocktail hour whenever we want, sleeping in till noon on weekends and not revolving around them. I'm both excited and nervous for this. Thank God I came to the right place

Now that is insecure since you're arguing positions I nor salmon has made.
You do you. Others will be them.
Seeking validation for your choice to have 6 kids or 0 kids is insecure.

I don’t think he is trying to feel better about himself. He’s just proving a point that people with kids are so miserable that they have to resort to name calling because someone wants to live their own lives

Granted I didn't read the thread but who is doing this?
And your part calling their lives miserable is proving my point.

then why the need to make up or use hyperbolic situations?

how did he "prove" this?

I’ve never heard of the No Kids Mardi Gras krewe. Where is your parade route?

speaking of selfish, how about when you invite friends over for dinner or to watch a game and they bring their kids who don't behave and run around the house like fricking crackheads. Our parties are adults only now.Hell we even got some blow back for having an adults only wedding reception, frick em, "if my kids can't come I am not coming"- 0 fricks given

They get mad when you make it adults only. But if you don’t get invited to something because you don’t have kids you’re not supposed to say anything.

I mean did you really want to go to a kid's birthday party that bad? What a weird complaint.
And my wedding was adult only. Parents with kids were happy to come without them.

That complaint is as weird as someone getting offended about it being adults only. That’s the whole point

That's not how that was worded at all.
If someone is butthurt about either situation, they can get over it.

What kind of child care cost more than a mortgage? Population growth in the US is not off the charts.

how awesome it is not having my sleep, travel,or weekend schedule affected by kids. Good for you if you'd rather spend your weekends at travel ball and birthday parties....I'd rather spend mine fishing and traveling to Saints/LSU games, to each his own
I always laugh at this stupid shite. If your dad didn't spend time with you, maybe he was a POS dad. I have a 5 year old, we're about to buy a boat, I go fishing and hunting whenever I want, but I still spend a ton of time with my boy and bring him whenever he wants to go, which at this age isn't often. My wife and I realize that our personal time is important in our life balance, so we both work hard to give each other that time. Once we figured it out and got in the groove, it's pretty simple to work out. He didn't sleep through the night for the first 10 months, but since then, he hasn't disrupted my sleep at all.

I’m all for not having kids but in 10years you will laugh that this was your priorities. Your poor wife

33 in April, no kids.
Do have an overabundance of electronics, nice car, and ability to not give a frick on any day of the week
