Ree is about to post a stats thread to show that Aranda was the problem, not old man E and shrimp boat captain

Person 1's statement was a fact from the beginning man. If it's verifiable, it's a fact.
Every statement that's true fits this criteria. Until it was verified it was an opinion.
You know what, RB10, I did google it, and I'm going to back off of the fact/opinion position.

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t blame the offense on him and not give him credit for the defense as well.

As you should.

Person #1 thinks the Saints won a Superbowl in years past. Person #2 says they have never won one. Do you agree that these are their opinions?
They do a search on google, and lo and behold, the Saints DID win a Superbowl. Person #1's opinion also happened to be a fact. No?
Oh my God, he is dead arse serious too.

If you had to Google the difference between a fact and opinion, then I have to seriously doubt your ability to even use Google.

The village idiots ran out of this thread with the quickness. They all got a hard on for the sports dude, and he got shut down fast. This may have been the quickest the ship has ever sunk.

We gave up 16.09 points a game through the first 11 games of the season. Which would have been something like a top 5 scoring defense.
Basically the last 2 games of the season changed our average about almost 6 whole points.
Losing Fehoko, Fulton and Joseph did not help at all.
And let’s temember the 32 points in the bowl involve a pick 6 and 3 more points where we muffed that punt, and gave up like 0 yards after.

quote:Coach O would have never hired Dave in the first place because he isn't a good ole boy over the age of 55 or part of the USC coaching tree.
If Eaux had hired Dave Aranda, Dave would be the 2nd most hated coach on this board.

You don't know that.
Dave Aranda used to go and meet with Eaux while Dave was at Cal Lutheran and Eaux was at USC. He has stated that he still has plenty of notes of the stuff he learned from Eaux.

Topwater trout head will explode. He said aranda is over paid and it was his fault for every loss

That's ridiculous.
Let's just be thankful that O didn't have to hire a new DC. If he had, Clancy Pendergast, Nick Holt, Pete Jenkins, or Monte Kiffin would have probably been his choice.

Ree, you've been called out by some folks. Looking forward to seeing your link.

That isn’t even debatable but apparently there are tiger fans that have lowered the expectations for our defense.
I was very disappointed in the end of the A$M game, but I don't think anyone has lowered standards. There's not a unit in the country that's going to play flawlessly over the course of the year
I think chaissons injury hurt more than most people realize.

Even if there wasn't a link it did happen regardless of what you think you know.
This is from Aranda's first ever press conference at LSU when he was hired.
quote:First Impressions: Dave Aranda's Opening Press Conference
"When I was a coaching at Cal Lutheran, and I used to go visit USC, Coach Orgeron was there," Aranda said. "We talked about get off and pass rush and that.
I believe the notes part was from an AFR podcast and was stated by Aranda. But it is well known that Aranda is meticulous about keeping notes about football.
quote:
During his graduate assistant years, Aranda visited as many college staffs as possible to quench his thirst for knowledge.
He met with USC defensive graduate assistant Dave Doeren and USC defensive line coach Ed Orgeron, who is now LSU's defensive line coach
"He has these books he carries around, a stack of notebooks," Louisiana Tech safeties coach Karl Scott, who was a graduate assistant under Aranda at Delta State, told The Advocate. "I guarantee you we'd be able to go through those things and find out how football was created."
