Something is getting shot today.

63° light rain on a small food plot on a hill. There is a lot of water on the ground.

Talk about a crazy morning. Tornado warnings and then we are under a Tornado Watch until 5pm.

This wind is insane. I’m 25’ high on a platform with shooting rail and tin roof and pretty damn nervous about being here. Had a doe come by at a full run across the corner of this field. Pretty obvious she wasn’t wanting to be out in the open.

Wondering if I should move to a ground blind in the woods

Finally did my dream hunt of stalking a beautiful, low fenced Blackbuck in West Texas hill country!!!!!

Mounting it for sure! If y’all got any recommendations for the meat let me know!

Beautiful black buck, trophy for sure

Grind the meat , I just picked up my whitetail from the processor , had some made into baconburger, ate one for lunch and I am impressed

Beautiful animal bro, congrats. He’s going to look great on the wall. Never had Blackbuck meat, so no recommendations here.

Back in the same stand after a quick lunch. Wind is still blowing hard but is supposed to at least calm a little before dark. Hopefully that 8 or one of his older brothers comes my way.

Last sit of the season. Always feels like the season flew by in a blink. I must be getting old!

Good luck OB! Be safe in this weather.

Good luck, jealous of y’all’s hunting season/rut after college football ends. Hopefully that big 8 comes back and you close out the season right. They should be on the move with front moving through.

Stuck on the couch, wife out of town today. Decided to can 15 pints of deer shank. Dropped 3 inches of snow in the last 2 hours and I'm developing a twitch thinking about deer moving by my stand.

Personally im burnt out. I have hunted more this year than I ever have. Still a month left in season though so im gone stay after it. Cant complain.. i have been very fortunate this year, knocked down 2 nice 9pts and seen a decent amount of deer.

Widny windy windy.
Box on edge of woods
Just here to be ready for tomorrow and Monday.
I'd be surprised if a deer came out today. Camera activity has drastically picked up. Still chasing.
