It is. But that really doesn't matter.

Dumb question, but is FISA abuse an actual crime that can be targeted for prosecution or is it just another made up term that sounds nefarious but isn’t like collusion.
Are we really talking about falsification of government records, encroachment of people civil liberties and the like call it that.
Yah they defrauded a court

I wonder how Pap came to the conclusion that he was being surveilled. Did he already know he was being charged or did someone leak that to him before hand?

Odd: Bruce Ohr said he told McCabe, Page, Strzok, Weissmann, Ahmad, and Swartz about Steele dossier shortly after July 30 meeting w/Steele. Yet we've heard that FBI Crossfire Hurricane team didn't know about dossier until September. LINK
he Ohr testimony sheds new light on an old question about the dossier: Who knew about it, and when? It has long been known that Steele talked to an FBI official in early July 2016. It was also known that Ohr talked to Steele on July 30. But it was not known who else knew about the dossier at the time. Indeed, there have been many reports that knowledge of the dossier was tightly limited; the FBI agents working on Crossfire Hurricane, the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, reportedly did not know about the dossier until September 2016.
The Ohr testimony suggests that not only did top FBI officials know about the dossier, but top Justice Department officials did, too. And two of them, Weissmann and Ahmad, went on to work for Mueller.

Gowdy also asked Ohr about how he first met with and delivered information regarding Steele to the FBI.
“How did you find out to meet with? Who did you call to find out,” Gowdy asked during the hearing.
“After the July 30thmeeting with Chris Steele, I wanted to provide the information he had given me to the FBI,” said Ohr. “I reached out for Andrew McCabe, at that time, Deputy Director of the FBI and somebody who had previously led the organized crime, Russian organized crime squad in NY and who I had worked with in the past, and asked if he could meet with me.”
Ohr went onto say, “I went to his office to provide the information, and Lisa Page was there. So, I provided the information to them. And some point after that, I think, I was given Peter Strzok, or somehow put in contact with Peter Strzok.”
Gowdy follows up with “when was that?”
“I don’t recall the exact date,” said Ohr. “I’m guessing it would’ve been August since I met with Chris Steele at the end of July, and I’m pretty sure I would have reached out to Andrew McCabe soon afterwards.”
Ohr’s testimony is contrary to statements made by House Democrats last year. In an unclassified memo from Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA, they notes that Ohr’s contact with the FBI began “weeks after the election and more than a month after the Court approved the initial FISA.”
Sources who spoke to this reporter say that argument has now been “turned on its head.” It is clear he spoke to FBI and DOJ officials before the FISA warrant or election had occurred. LINK

Honest Bob’s best friend, Billy Boy ain’t gonna do shite. Unfortunately Trump nominated another Swamp creature. He has already said he’s not interested in U1 or FISA abuses. We’re screwed.

Had this been a normal DEA or FBI operation and it was revealed that federal agents misled the court on a warrant, the MSM would be screaming about dirty cops and the judge would have them sitting in a contempt hearing for lying in the warrant application. I fail to see the difference here, but their actions and subsequent false statements to congress are seemingly being ignored.

12 denials in 33 years. Secret court. No one advocating on behalf of the surveilled. Federal judges know the FISC is a rubber stamp but just don't give a damn.

Mueller can’t bring anything to court, not that he could charge the President anyway, because any lawyer can now poison the investigation, without even trying. All Mueller can do , like we already knew, is make a case for impeachment, which was the case all along. It’s only sad, because this would probably be thrown out of any court, and that’s assuming Trump actually did something, which I doubt. Anyway, with the Mueller team having the poison pill embedded, Trump would be almost untouchable in any court proceeding.
