58 doesn’t count.?? In 58 grambling would have beat LSU by at least three touchdowns.

Don't know if you're serious, but I can tell you that could very well have happened if they were allowed to play.

They competed in a lower division, small college, and didn't even win the SWAC that year.

I bet that half of LSUs all time greats are from North Louisiana.

I've always been disappointed when a great player is produced and he goes out of state, no matter if its Elvin Hayes or Rick Robey, John Fourcade or Joe Ferguson.

I think the poster just needed something to bitch about.

Remove two aberrant communities from the sample:
1. The 40 mile radius from Monroe;
2. Amite
Where does this leave the analysis?
Seems to me it shows SLa. Is less consistently LSU territory.
That, however, does little to support this whole lame thread and the premise upon which it is based.

Some of LSUs greatest players EVER come from this area. It's not as big of a problem as south Louisiana tries to make it.

Can we get a breakdown of the SLA vs NLA signings with LSU during that time frame? I’m trying to see something

I wouldn’t say that but a good handful of guys from NLA have been one of the best LSU has ever had.

Yeah absolutely. You can do exactly what I did. All the information is public. Have at it

It grinds my gears that Baton Rouge feels in a position to look down on anyone.

Yep and The signings that hurt us the most are from SLA.

Agree to disagree. It looks like we lose a lot of linemen from NLA. You know, the main difference between Bama and us?

True. We just haven’t produced the elite offensive and defensive linemen like we have had in years past too.

They never even tried to sway them to LSU. U high is literally on LSU’s campus. What’s the deal?

There has been an article that debunks this myth. Essentially, if there is a blue chip NLA recruit he is just as likely if not more likely to sign with LSU. Based on the history of the last 15 years.

The real question to answer is why have SLA baws pushed this myth onto the rant when Saban coached at Alabama. The only thing I can think of is that it’s a projection. We will lose kids to Alabama no doubt but it’s total fiction NLA is more suseptible.

LSU’s four best players this season were all not from South La.

Tracy, burrow, Greedy and White.

Hell a handful of LSU’s greats aren’t even from Louisiana at all.

Fake news. I am happy with the season and where we are at in recruiting for 2019 and 2020. Doesn’t mean I am not going to call bullshite when I see it.

This is some crazy shite. Look I'm pissed at every La. kid that jets out of state period. I don't care if they're from U High or North DeSoto. 1 thing to remember is that LSU recruit's nationally and contends for 5 star recruits where ever they visit. This isn't Tulane or Tech. So considering this, it may be understandable for a recruit to look elsewhere because it's really a 3 year college career that top players look at. They want to go where they can play sooner than later. I can almost kick a football to Duchtown High where Bama slept in the locker room recruiting players. Now they're at Amite. I'm pissed about that to be sure.
