Why can't Democrats work harder?

I'm a libertarian so most of the time, I sit back and enjoy the fireworks. That being said, I find myself increasingly dumbfounded by how hard headed the democrats are. They seem to do things just to disrupt the government. Why even waste time on a bill to open government when the President and Senate said that it would be a non-starter? Go work out a deal and when it is reached, vote on that bill.
Being a libertarian, I see government being put in control more and more by the Dems, a little less than the GOP does anyway. I don't like that. We need less government, not more.

Trump barely works at all. Unless you define work as watching Fox News, eating McDonalds, and generating incoherent Tweet storms.

How does that have anything at all to do with my post? FYI - I don't even like Trump but the Democrats are much much more of a waste of oxygen.

Agree. The less intrusion into our lives the better. We need infrastructure, military, security and health care on a federal level. We dont need restrictions and unnecessary bureaucracy.
That being said, border security is a must. But, We ALL should have a hard time believing it is a drastic as Trump says. He wants a legacy wall with his name attached like his hotels, golf courses, wine, steaks, fraudulent University. I simply cannot believe Trump when he says anything anymore. Is the border that much of a conduit for drugs, gangs and terrorists? I doubt it based on studies. I doubt it more because trump is saying it.
When Trump stops lying then we can talk about the facts and see if we really need to spend billions to create another big structure so trump can put his brand on it. So far, his brands have all been scams and no one anywhere, no matter how ignorant, can argue that trump has a problem with the truth. That is the problem. Th dems, as petty as they are, have a valid basis to not believe in Trump and only Trump is to blame.

I am still waiting for an answer from Democrats about why they don't want the wall .
It's not about money , Democrats would like nothing more than being able to steal taxpayer money and give it to foreign countries.
It's a pussy reason , and they don't have the balls to say it.
