It was like we kicked their fricking arse physically, then stepped on our giant physical dicks with playcalling and discipline in the redzone

High volume TOP. They better be scoring.

Had the ball for over 44 minutes. I was still a bit upset over tight formations and us running for negative yards

Four under 30 yard field goals.

Memphis scored more and had about equal yards. The best RB we faced by a mile played for them. Congrats though.

Should have been 44. Burrow scored and they ruled him down. Kicked a FG
40 points is nothing to anger yourself over

UCF had 8 less points on 250 yards.... so no, I’m not entertained with FG’s.

Is what it is. Nothing to be in denial over

Don't expect any logic from Roger. Everything is good because we scored a lot of points,
ETA: This gameplan overall is something we hopefully build off of though. Just needs some fine tuning in the redzone.

Memphis scored more

UCF is known for giving up a ton of yards. They gave up an average of 433 yards per game (including the bowl). They had 7 games giving up over 447 yards including giving up 670 tp Temple.
555 against a quality team would be impressive, against UCF its meh at best.

But if we dont fix our redzone offense, we will never be where we want to be.

555 total yards? Probably should have put up over 50pts against that pussy defense.
Posted on 1/2/19 at 2:06 pm to TwoDatBait
Wrong. 7 of those points was a pick 6 bc our receiver slipped.

In general I thought the offense looked really good. My only complaint is our offense once we get inside the 10. The play calling and execution is so bizarre once we get a first and goal. We march down the field and then it's almost like we're playing for 3 points instead of the touchdown.

Burrow should have legitimately had 6 total TDs. He scored on the 1st possession and Jefferson dropped a beautiful pass in the end zone on that smash route.

We are all concerned with the red zone.
