Several different articles, too much to attach but a synopsis:

The govt will not give another huge injection to state run factories, its not helping anymore.

They did offer an incentive to the private sector, not near the take they anticipated and those that did just used it to refinance.

Factory output declined in December and the outlook is worse for 2019 as they come off the sugar high of loading in the US before tariffs.

Huge concerns about IT sector as US and allies backing off Chinese companies.

Boys and girls, looks like the US has a huge tailwind heading into the final stretch of negotiations before the next set of tariffs could take effect.

I hear pillows are selling like hotcakes in Beijing as they prepare to take a knee.

I like to watch the "china uncensored" videos on youtube. Dude has been giving a pretty clear picture of what trump has been saying for longer than anyone. He has been saying trump's tariffs are hurting them far more than the US.

The tariff war did burdened the American taxpayer in the short term.

Trump passed a tax cut to help said burden.

This was the easiest most effective and efficient way to make China bend the knee, and Trump knew it. The short term vs the long term.

Chess. Not checkers.

Happy New Year.

Government response on hold as they wait and see what concessions they’ll have to make to negotiate the end of the trade war.

Why do you think that is?

Given that, how is any first world worker - regardless of their skill and work ethic - supposed to "compete" with a third world counterpart without reducing their standard of living to match?

That's an example of how strong the dollar is in China.

I am interested to know which country has the higher economic growth rate the US or China?

It would also be interesting to know how much exports from China to the US have gone down under Trump? Have exports from China to other countries gone down?

Thank you in advance for that information.

So you mean that their factories aren’t making cheap arse fidget spinners and hatchimals for my kids?

Mr. Trinidadtiger or BamaRep, what do you think the trade deficit will be with China in 2019?

I'm not worried about a trade deficit with China. They basically need our food more then we need their $250 televisions, which they are only using to spy on us anyway.

If nothing else, Trump has shown he's light years ahead of the establishment and talking heads with it comes to all things economic. His plan is working and it's working better than any of us could have imagined.

Let the man work it out.
