Corker advises that everyone tune into the Senate floor in the next half hour. There’s an agreement between McConnell and Schumer “that charts the course forward that gives us the best chance of coming to a solution.”

It's probably something like wall funding in exchange for infrastructure/daca fix, which depending on the "fix" isn't a terrible deal.

If Mitch made a deal, they’ll override the veto.
Which may be the way Congress chooses to go forward to be honest. With the Democratic house coming in January, Trump would have no recourse if Mitch and schumer cooperate

Couldn't Trump theoretically "pocket veto" this and just do nothing until midnight? Granted that would probably be immensely unpopular (depending on the deal) but it may still be an option.

I may punch a hole in a wall if the Senate has been sitting in an infrastructure plan and passes it in this last minute fashion after being the most useless deliberative body in the Western Hemisphere for two years now
