I see Myles Brennan pushing Burrow hard in the off season. I think Brennan plays early and often next year. Especially in the passing game. He has 2+ years in the system. He will be a 20 year RS Sophomore. He throws the ball much better with a much faster release and is more accurate than JB. Already like many other qbs in his class, MB opportunity will happen this year.

You can throw stats out the window. Burrow was a massive part of why LSU finished 9-3. Numbers weren't eye popping, but he made numerous big plays in huge spots. That is measured on a stat sheet.

Burrow needs to run to set up the pass...as in, HE needs to keep running the ball.
The interior line needs to do a better job at letting him sit in the pocket. Borrow needs more time to throw than most. It's just the way it is.

It’s crazy how people have the audacity to compare Burrow to Haskins...one has a professional future as a QB... the other one shouldn’t even be starting next year for his college team...

Nah. You could have easily put another guy in there to do what he did. We give passes to our QBs because we don't know any better. Because we've been dealing with garbage passing for most of a decade.

LSU will not compete for championships without arm talent like that of Brennans. Next year will be orgerons most talented year and the year after that will surely be his last if he doesnt capitalize on next year.

One has 3 5th year senior WRs and 3 or 4 more WRs who are headed to the NFL. They broke most of Ohio State's passing records last year with JT Barrett (a so-so passing QB), and demolished them this year with Haskins (a solid passing QB).
The other QB has a group of WRs who have struggled catching the ball. Again, I put this on the coaches failing to get these WRs adequate reps, both in-season and off-season.

Coach Urban Meyer compared Haskins and Burrow. He said they were equal. Numerous times.
*With the exception of 2017. Before Burrow broke his hand. Meyer put Burrow ahead of Haskins on the Ohio State depth chart.
