He was very dignified while praising Jesus as His birthday approaches. Talked to him afterwards.
He’s such a standup guy and fights for what’s right without causing a media circus. I wish more officials acted like him.

Said it before and I will say it again, the Kavanaugh hearings will go down as one of the dumbest political moves in the 21st century. Not only did they likely get the republican and Trump base even more fired up before the midterms. It got senators like Cassidy who had previously been relegated to simple solid voting Rs nothing more and usually nothing less to playing the game in Washington. Bill Cassidy is about as mild mannered a senator you will find. Very nice, cordial, and certainly does not act like he is better than anybody else, and the dems completely turned him into more of an aggressive voice on capitol hill.
One thing that he brings to the R party is if and when Obamacare gets repealed and replaced he will be leaned on heavily as a chief architect in the senate. I honestly thought he would not run for re election but now I think he runs again, which would be good for LA to have him and Kennedy ech for 12-18 years apiece.
