Told 247 that he is excited to play along side Devin White. Says he cant wait to eventually replace the leadership when they leave and become a leader for the defense. Says he talks to the staff everyday. Maybe Orgeron is telling recruits that Devin White is staying next year. Just thought it was interesting.

Not going to link it because its VIP.

If Devin White returns we realistically should just have to worry about replacing Lawrence (From what it seems) and Greedy

Battle has been a great player for LSU but his level of production and awareness shouldn't be hard to replace. Wish we could have more 4th and 5th players on the roster

He may go but I think it's in his heart to stay, good luck Devin in whatever you choose

No way Devin White passes that at least $10M guaranteed money to come back playing in college. A major injury can ruin his fortune.

He wouldn't be the 1st to come back for his Senior year.

Many of you young guys might not realize that staying through your Senior year was the norm not that long ago.

I hope he returns and has another great year in Purple & Gold. As discussed in other threads, Devin White is elligible for a $10,000,000 insurance policy if he returns. This is offered to returning Seniors who are projected as 1st or 2nd round NFL picks which he clearly is. He will be protected financially from injury.

If Devin White gets on here and reads all of the "He needs to go....hed be dumb to stay"

i for one would like to express the other side and say that i would be thrilled to have him come back and it would very fitting based on my opinions of DW as an all time Tiger

It’s one thing if a defensive lineman stays but linebacker is such a brutal position. Running back and linebacker to me is a you have to go take the money while it’s there type of position. Mad respect to him if he stays but damn that would be tough to risk my body as a sec middle linebacker when I have a first round nfl grade.

I'm not sure that Devin White frequents the rant

LB play longer than RBs or DL.

You show me a DT or RB with 17 year career like Ray Lewis.

Julius Peppers is a DE and he is in his 16th season, but he is an outlier. Ray Lewis was an outlier too. The average NFL career is only about 5 years which would mean you may have the chance at one big payday with the way rookie contracts are capped now.

Not one single person would not be thrilled if he came back.

Being happy he returns, and filling it's in his best interest to leave, are not mutually exclusive.

I don't think Lawrence has publicly stated one way or another.. I think any news on him is purely speculation.

Lawrence is coming back

He's getting a 3rd round projection with a 1st round grade.

DT is too deep.

Wise decision is to come back and be a top 15 pick

I don't think anyone will be disappointed whatever he decides. In fact it seems people would be more upset if he passes on millions to stay than if he goes. It's more that he's one of everyone's "favorite tigers" and we had 3 awesome years of him, one more would just be icing.
