Good point. I don't usually see Ole Miss fans posting in threads talking about teams in bowl games or about teams that don't have losing records.

I thought the state of Louisiana had some law or rule against the institution using that name but ULL using it in their athletic branding was a way to get around or bend that rule?

And Tulane stopped using the name once they became a private school.

Announcers and fans calling the school by that name sound like idiots. Educate yourself and call it by it's right name, ULL or Louisiana-Lafayette.

The New Orleans Bowl always take the Sun Belt champ I think. Neither of these teams are good enough for it.
