yea and they gave USL permission to use the name but the insecure LSU fans couldn't handle that
And Tulane stopped using the name once they became a private school.

Announcers and fans calling the school by that name sound like idiots. Educate yourself and call it by it's right name, ULL or Louisiana-Lafayette.
