In Vegas hoping to see the real Tigers show up

We’ve got talent which hasn’t meshed yet. Here’s hoping this is the beginning.

Got to take care of business the rest of this OOC stretch

goodness, I hope so. I saw the same problems the other night against Houston that I've been seeing the past few seasons. The team started out hot and got out to a big lead, but then went ice cold, rebounded poorly, started turning the ball over like crazy, and made poor shot selection. It's just frustrating how hot/cold this team is.

I went to this mornings workout . Attitude is good . Staff is confident the effort will be there. Finishing is my concern and there’s.

Most people didn't think the football team would beat UGA after losing to Florida. You never know when the light bulb will turn on for these young guys. I'm sure that was a huge learning experience Wednesday night. Hopefully they can translate that into a win tomorrow night.

KVB has to get at least 25 mins a game and has to play with Naz if we are ever going to reach our full potential.

Any rally or group get together? I got in yesterday. Already worn out

Or at least what’s left of them

KVB is the key to this whole thing. Defensively it’s a no brainer, his rebounding and rim protection allows everyone els to play aggressive and free. On offense he allows Naz or Emmitt to post vs much smaller guys than having to out physical college centers plus he’s the only guy on the team who sets real screens and actually rolls to the bucket. It’s not that he’s one of our 5 most talented players it’s what he brings and the space he creates. Until Wade figures this out we’ll continue to see the same problems all year long.

As far as the talent not meshing. Is that because of different styles of play or is it just egos clashing as everyone wants to be the big star and high scorer? I have tried to be patient and hope for the first but as of right now my guess is it is the latter.
I am a huge Tiger basketball fan and usually don't pay much attention to other teams until we play them. But this summer I got hooked on the Mac McClung viral videos of him dunking and being unstoppable on drives. So I have followed Georgetown where he ended up. Mac has had all kinds of trouble adjusting to college ball and the weakness of his game has been exposed as he is a terrible three point shooter.
What has been much more surprising is another freshman player that Georgetown has. His name is Josh LeBlanc and he is from Baton Rouge and Madison Prep. Not living in BR, I had never heard of him. I see now from the internet that he was listed at 6'5" which is possibly why Wade didn't recruit him hard. He is now listed as 6'7" and can jump out of the building.
He has been a tremendous blue collar rebounder and defender against players taller than himself. I just keep switching him and Naz and wondering what kind of team we would have with a player willing to play low and do the dirty stuff? I know you are supposed to go for the sure thing in the 5* flashy players but don't you want more of LeBlanc's type of player in building a team. Everyone can't be a star. Especially if the guy is from Baton Rouge. Isn't Smart the only Louisiana player Wade has recruited?
