Good I needed another option to traverse our 8 block downtown area. Walking was getting too tough.

All of these are going to end up in North Baton Rouge within the first few months.
You are so wrong.
You’re forgetting about Gardere, the stolen vehicle capital of the world.

Yea, but would you feel safe enough taking one from LSU to downtown? And those are really the only places I could see them working.
Yes.
River road/levee if you're scared of Nicholson corridor.

are you a guidance councilor at a small Colorado school?

You can order a cheap plug in device from China that allows you to override the system and steal the scooters.
Once that knowledge gets around you wont be able to find one in Baton Rouge anymore.

could probably fit 4-5 in the van and charge them while going around the city and disperse them.
you have to do it in the middle of the night. Since people shouldnt be on them at night you need to have them picked up between 9-11pm-ish. Charge them up, and have them out by 6am-ish. Like having a paper route

Makes several hundred bucks a week on it I think.
Around here you get charging hoarders. One person will pick up as many as they can fit in a truck. Maybe like 40 at a time. That person makes good charging money but that leaves other people that want to do it out of luck. So unless your really hustling, making good money charging is hard to do.

are they electric? or are they just the crap razr scooters?
If you put a little thought into it, the answer is incredibly obvious.

Lol, that won't stop people from thinking they can steal it.

So the person who works the hardest gets the most money? And you make it sound like it’s a bad thing.

They’ll steal it and only be able to sell for scraps. Plus they’re GPS tracked so not the smartest of thefts.

How long do you think this will last in BR?
Didn't last very long here in Greensboro. Also, the company just started dropping them off without permission from the city.

Nope. Just live in a part of town where they are everywhere for 6 months now. Annoying as shite. Walk down a sidewalk where you have a pack of them coming your way or up from behind you. They expect you to get out of the way for them.
Look into the injuries on them. I have a co-worker who has been working from home, and had surgery on his arm from busting his arse on one. Hit a crack wrong.
Lady in dallas caught the front tire on the trolley tracks, and went face first into the road.
These accidents arent being recorded properly by emergency rooms, so "stats" arent showing this.
Imagine taking a turn on a road where you see no pedestrian, and you hit a guy on a scooter zipping on the sidewalk. Came out of no where after you committed to the turn. Will be the drivers fault. Or at least on his "non-insured motorist". I was talking to a guy at a bar that got hit like this. Dude in the car drove off, but he did admit it was his fault.
If you are ok with bikes on the roads/sidewalks then scooters will be fine with you. If you arent, or have some issues with it, then scooters will be the same.
