Yea, but would you feel safe enough taking one from LSU to downtown? And those are really the only places I could see them working.

You ride in the street, or the sidewalk?

Yea, that's about the only place in BR I could see these working. They're perfect for college students.

Maybe in downtown too.

I use the levee to go from campus to downtown on my longer runs all the time. Perfectly safe and the path is smooth, I see that being a pretty popular route for them.

Frisco TX city council had to call an emercency meeting this week b/c they had a bunch dumped on their city.

These guys just do, and not ask. They are getting people hooked then making the city the bad people

Dangerous. A kid died in dallas on one. Lots of injuries. Car Ins rates are going to go up cause the car will be blamed instead of the dumbass zipping in and out of traffic on the sidewalk.

Fight it in your town or yall will be screwed.

A play could be to contract w Bird as a repair vender. Set a rate per repair, for say, electrical issues. Then, pay a couple of guys to pull some leads loose on units daily. Swoop in and reconnect. Profit.

Then I saw they had a rule where you couldn't use vehicles that advertised another business, so that cut out that plan.

They would absolutely never check that.

You fight them in yours. I’m fighting the government trying to regulate them in mine.

There was a big controversy over these scooters here a few months ago.

They basically popped up overnight, didn't apply for permits or a business license or anything.

The city instructed DPW to pick them up whenever they saw them. It was really entertaining.

I understand it just fine. Do north BR residents have bird scooter chargers laying around? Scooter chop shops to remove the GPS on them?

It was awesome to use them when I visited San Diego this summer until I got a ticket for not wearing a helmet. It works well for the people that live there, but hard for those who don't.
