Iphone Xs vs Xr

hi guys
have an iphone 7 and my wife and i are considering upgrading over the holidays.
im intrigued by the Xr but im afraid its going to be too big.
Any tips on if the Xs is worth the extra $300? i know its a better screen and camera and smaller, just wondering if its worth it

XR is the right phone for almost everyone

If you consume media frequently go with XS or Max. OLED is great. If you just want an iPhone, and don’t mind a lesser quality display both in technology and resolution go XR.

Yes. Technically it's a little better in low light levels.

Unless you absolutely NEED the optical zoom or OLED there's no reason to get the XS over the XR. I went from a 6 to a XR and have no problem with the size, the width difference isn't that much, it's basically just a taller phone in your hand. Plus the battery life is amazing. My 6 was usually around 10% at the end of work, even with heavy use my XR still has about 75%

Portrait mode pics alone were worth the jump to the S phones for my wife and I. Got some awesome pics of my daughter at a Christmas lights display last night.

Xr offers longer battery.
Xs offers a better display, although based upon my unbiased (and untrained) eyes, the difference is minimal if not holding the phones side by side.
I like the size of the Xs.
Both are very good phones.

Got my wife an XR to replace her 6splus. She is mostly satisfied except for the lack of a home button. The gestures don't work as elegantly as they did back in the Blackberry 10 OS days.

Att will give you $450 off any iPhone if you call The Customer Loyalty dept. You have to sign a 2 year contract and be on the unlimited plan. You also have to pay the remaining phone balance upfront. I just upgraded both me and my wife to the XR 128 GB for $350 each.

I’ll take the bigger screen, newer processor and lower cost, over the dual camera and OLED screen.
