I’m sorry, but do you have an engine that can get you up to at least 75 mph? Do you have a horn or blinkers? Got break lights? Seatbelt of any kind? What about airbags?

The road is for vehicles, not some douchebag in tights thinking he’s Lance Armstrong.

Lighten up, it's all a reference to that Portland jogger meme.

Because it reminds me of the Portland jogger meme. Have you never seen that video? I read your comment in her pretentious voice.

If people are riding their bikes to commute to work, etc then fine. I just cant figure out how these entitled pricks are allowed to use public roadways for recreation.

You cant ride an atv down a roadway, you'll get a ticket and have it towed. Even if it has proper equipment and travels with the flow of traffic.

You cant set up drag races

Me and my buddys cant paint lines on the road and have a flag football game on it.

This is another sign that multiculturalism doesn’t work. You refuse to assimilate. I’m ready for the war.

My sister is a liberal cyclist and during Thanksgiving I mentioned how there are cyclists in the middle of the road and how I wished they'd get off to the side instead of right in the middle of the lane. She got triggered as frick. Saying stuff like "well I'm sorry a minute was added to your commute" with a clear hostile tone in her voice. I get her point, but man I've never seen her get so worked up like that before.

I immediately changed the subject as it looked like she was ready to start getting in a heated argument over it. She's usually pretty level headed, but I really struck a nerve with that comment

Middle of the road thing truly is to help a cyclist not get killed. Might inconvenience you for a minute like she said. Might save her life. Getting off to the side invites people to do some very dangerous passing when there isn't room.

Plenty of cyclists doing stupid shite on the road. But until you've ridden for a while, you don't realize how many cars will do stuff that puts riders close to death for no reason other than to save 30 seconds. I quit riding outdoors for that reason. I train on an indoor trainer and ride my mountain bike on trails for fun. About 2 weeks before a race, I'll take my bike out on the low traffic 30 mph roads where I can keep a mid 20's speed and not piss too many people off. Doesn't matter who's right or wrong when it comes to living or dying. I think that's why cyclist seem "entitled". A driver sees it as funny, trivial, or annoying. Rider sees it as his life on the line.

I saw a guy (all the gear) riding across Jefferson Hwy and getting on the Huey P. Long Bridge in Harahan. That's a skinny bridge. That can't be legal.

It is (unless there are road signs specifically prohibiting), but that guy's a dumb arse. It's frustrating that you can't ride on rural roads without feeling unsafe. But you are just an idiot trying to ride in a place like that.

If you can't do the speed limit get the frick off the roads, it should be legal to run you entitled fricks over for holding up traffic. Get a truck like a normal baw for christ sake.

What's funny is I've spent most of my life hunting, fishing, etc. I drive an F150. I don't ever want to be classified as a baw, but I do or have done most of the stuff they think is worthy. I just got bit by the bug to do triathlons a few years ago and it takes a tougher person to do that than anything I ever do in the "baw world". Yet you are a spandex sissy if you touch the road on a bike. You don't belong there. But try to go on the outdoor board and tell that very same person that he doesn't have the right to fish on private wetlands and that f*cker will have a seizure trying to reason with you.
