I personally feel like devin white has nothing else left to prove but compete for a title. If he does go pro tho I’ll be happy either way. But...the tiger in me would love for him to stay & buck this trend of juniors leaving early. Even tho white is a 1st rounder there has been quite a few guys over the years threw out the P5 that have stayed & helped their team. It seems LSU ALWAYS have the most players leaving early every single year lately. I’m for them getting there money but let’s be honest. Some of those early departures should have definitely stayed.

He should go pro but I'm selfish and hope he comes back.

I want Devin to do what is best for he and his family. That's not always the same for everyone and this may be one of those cases.
He is already a TIGER Legend in my eyes.

Is Devin White a recruit we are hoping to get in baseball? That's the only sport I know of where a recruit can go from high school to the pros.

He has represented us better than anyone in recent history. I think he should think about his own future and go. We will always appreciate everything that he has done while here

He should do whatever he wants to. He’s ready to dominate at the next level but if he’s not ready to leave then he should stay. Worked out great for Tre White and Peyton Manning.

If the kid wants to come back, set LSU records, and help the team to a possible Championship he will still be highly drafted after next year. The $$$$$ will still be there for him.

This board bitches about kids leaving early, now we bitch about the best player on the team thinking about staying another season?

His degree and LSU mean a lot to him. No matter his decision he’s a TIGER for life. But he realizes he could be a LEGEND if he returns.......

I hope Devin White commits to LSU. Are we hearing rumors as to what college he’s going to?

Apparently he might go straight to the pros.

Devin should go pro. The risk outweighs the reward.

That doesn't work. La'El and Tre White were locks to be top 2 round picks and decided to stay. That didn't change anything.

Yeah, but when it happens it's usually because they feel like they could win a championship if they did. Either way when it does happen anywhere it's HUGE news because it's very rare.

Assuming he stays healthy and out of trouble. A significant injury may drop him to the 3rd or 4th round. Legal trouble could cause him to drop as well.

Now he’s never been in trouble while at LSU but shite happens.

He could also declare, slip in the draft due to some unforseen circumstances, and get hurt before even stepping on the field a la Guice. This isn't the cut and dry choice people want make it out to be.

I say about kids that stay the same thing I do about kids that leave early and skip bowls, it’s his life, he should do what he wants/thinks is best. The fear of injury “costing” him money while not zero is grossly overblown
