Also loved when Michael Moore predicted Trump would win. That was special.

I’m a big fan of hers. One of my favorite things she’s said is that if women had run humanity we’d still be living in grass huts. There’d probably be fewer wars, less competition, etc. but women would still be dying in childbirth since men have improved medicine(and built bridges, hospitals,...) That notion also jives with her belief that the huge mistake of modern feminism is seeing men as the enemy. Men have sought to protect women and obviously the genders worked together through all of history.

( I’m a woman and TOTALLY agree with the grass huts theory.)

The woman gets it. At least now she does.

The mainstream media’s nonstop assault on Trump has certainly backfired by cementing his outsider status. He is basically a pragmatic deal-maker, indifferent to ideology.

I don't know if I've ever seen a more apt and fitting statement from a Democrat. I wish more of them were able to set aside political affiliations and cut through the hate that's often spewed, it's refreshing.

A persistent characteristic of civilizations in decline throughout history has been their self-strangling by slow, swollen, and stupid bureaucracies. The current atrocity of crippling student debt in the US is a direct product of an unholy alliance between college administrations and federal bureaucrats — a scandal that ballooned over two decades with barely a word of protest from our putative academic leftists, lost in their post-structuralist fantasies. Political correctness was not created by administrators, but it is ever-expanding campus bureaucracies that have constructed and currently enforce the oppressively rule-ridden regime of college life.

A true scholar and intellectual. This is a person who values thought and reason, and examines facts over emotional BS.

There is nothing she said I can find that I disagree with.

Not surprised. Paglia is an "old school" democrat, with little patience for the current crop of SJW proggies that are in control of the party.
