Obviously most of the people in this thread need the gov't to protect them, in a damn casino or bar. I don't smoke either, but I don't have to go to a casino or bar, which is not something I could bring my kids to anyways. If people wanna smoke in there, I have no problem with it.

I mean, people are pissed because a business is building their own leper colony to give smokers their own space where non smokers don't have to go. Its bizarre

God forbid a business try to recoup some money from a government mandated policy.

It’s the governments job to ensure workplace safety. Smoking is a safety issue for those who work at a bar/casino. You can’t go offshore without your FRc’s. No different.

you could so not work in a bar or casino if you feel you dont want to be around smoke.

huge difference. there are plenty of jobs that are just more dangerous that others.

well not really. but the government has interjected itself into way more areas that it wasnt originally meant to be in. If a smoke free casino was in such demand their would be smoke free facilities without a law.

You started this thread with a pissy little rant and continue to act that way. Just calm down. Maybe you should direct all that anger into getting big brother to ban some other stuff you don't like.

That dumbass makes that argument in every one of these threads

I've asked a million times for him to quote the OSHA standard he's using to justify it. Crickets every time

Rant?

Guess what, at the end of day I still get to sit inside a smoke free casino while you're busy asking the cocktail waitress to check the points on your players card to see if you can score another pack...and when she brings you another pack, guess what? You have to walk your arse outside to light up...the only person around here pissed about the casino having to stick the rift raft outside is you

Calm down. I don't go to casinos like you, trashball, so none of this affects me in any way. I know freedom is a tough concept for some people, but I guess some just aren't intelligent enough to grasp the concept

Great. Let them adjust to new regulation. It's what the private sector has been doing for hundreds of years, and it's what they should keep doing now.

Don't smoke.

Saw someone eating a cheeseburger at lunch. Maybe you can lobby the metro council to outlaw them so I don't have to smell that obnoxious shite. My health, and their health, is at stake. Get to it.

I admit I do go to the casino from time to time to play a few hands of poker, which is not playing against the house. The last few times have been an enjoyable walk to the poker room
