What a load of horseshite thread.

Dabo is a hypocritical assclown and when he goes down it'll be worse than Freeze.

That's what makes Saban the GOAT at the college level. His teams always win the games they're supposed to win. Their focus is incredible. I think Pete's best teams can beat anyone, but he did have that one brain fart almost every year.
This is pretty much what "the process" is all about.

It doesn't matter who you're playing.

You practiced all summer. All fall. And every week to wake up on Saturday and put that practice to use against a person lined up against you.

Nothing else matters. Not the team you're playing. Not the scoreboard. Not your ranking. Not what winning the game will mean. Nothing.else.matters.

In a perfect world, every 18 year old would understand that. But that isn't realistic. Saban is the best in the business at getting most of them to buy into it, though.

Clemson’s success is 90% Newspring and 10% Brent Venebales.

Put Dabo at Bowling Green and they are going 6-6 every year.

Urban is the 2nd best of this era after Saban. Top 10 for sure, maybe top 5 all time.

Dabo is great and has built an impressive and sustainable program. He could get there, but isn’t yet

Completely forgetting that Meyer produced a 13-0 team at Utah, I see.

I’d rather have Dabo than Urban as a coach, right now.

But Dabo needs a few more seasons under his belt before we can place him over what Urban has done.

This should be the end of this thread.

Dabo has a ton of potential, but Urban's end-of-career turmoil has cast a bit of a shadow on his overall career. In totality he's behind only Saban and the Bear. The dude has been incredible.

As mentioned, Dabo is who you want right now and he has a very slight chance of passing Urban eventually, but Urban EASILY has him when you look at total career right now.

It's not even close, and this comes from a Clemson fan

Saban
Dabo
Smart
Jimbo
Mullen
Herman
Riley
Gundy
Patterson
Campbell
Frost
Brohm
Leach
Peterson

Don't forget the gold mine he inherited at Utah.

Those Mormon kids dwarf the talent down South.

And while we're talking about inheriting gold mines.

Deep South talent at LSU and Alabama...not to mention inheriting a Top 5 program all-time in Alabama.

Lets see Saban's resume if he stays at Michigan State?

We all know his NFL resume.

Lets not act like Meyer walked into made-to-win-bag-money factories and Saban didn't.

Winning huge at Alabama, especially when they don't have to win their Conference...with all that Southern talent and history isn't a Bill Snyder job.

It's expected. Saban has all the controls and safeguards and talent to not fail.

Hell, even their schedule is retarded despite being the king of the hill. They play only 7 SEC teams, 4 scrimmages against Community Colleges and 1 home game against someone like Louisville of Duke.

SEC has fricking 14 teams...why the frick are teams playing 7 Conference games?

This isn't a Conference...it's a loose Confederacy.

I don't know why the league and opponent fans puts up with this...the home office and absurd always in their favor Alabama schedules and Gary Danielson.

You're right. He inherited an NFL qb that he didn't recruit and beat up Wyoming, New Mexico and other teams from the mighty Mountain West Conference.
